Barbara K. Byczko

Barbara holds an ARCT Diploma in Piano Performance and a Kodaly Certificate from The Royal Conservatory of Music, a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Toronto, a Licentiate Diploma in Piano Performance from Trinity College, London, England, and a Master of Arts in Holistic and Aesthetic Education from The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto. Her article entitled "The Suzuki Piano Method: Influence of Specially Formatted Recordings and the Effect of Parental involvement on Learning the Repertoire" is published in the scholarly journal called Music Education International, Issue 2, December 2003.

Ms. Byczko has studied with many well-known teachers including Boyanna Toyich, Marina Geringas, Lynda Metelsky and Art Levine. Currently, Ms. Byczko is a faculty member of The Royal Conservatory of Music where she is a Suzuki piano specialist teaching both private and group lessons.
